These complex shapes utilize our 3D modelling facility allowing us to produce components by conventional means and EDM. Our extensive experience covers the handling of difficult materials which are common to the power generation industry. Our ability to take 2 dimensional drawings and produce 3 dimensional models allows our customers to see the proposed component, allowing for the estimation of production costs.
Complex shapes can also be generated in hours rather than days using the system, reducing critical lead time, making sure the product get to the market much sooner. Alternatively we can import complex 3d geometry direct to our CAM system. New Manual Centre Lathe
Through continued expansion, and investment, we have just completed work on the installation of a new manual centre lathe “Trens SN710S”
In certain circumstances it is quicker to manufacture components on manual machines. The new lathe increases the capacity and the size of work we can carry out in this area. Capable of machining 2 metres between centres. And up to 720mm Dia.
